The source, the date, the whole story.
Aftertaste turns official food safety posts into a record you can actually search, read and revisit.
Four steps. No guesswork.
Source
An official authority post starts every entry.
Verify
An entry says Source-reported until its exact outlet is confirmed.
Record
Every finding and action keeps its date.
Update
Restorations and corrections join the same history.
Source-reported, then reviewed.
We publish each record as soon as it is transcribed, in the authority's own words and at the stage it stated. A "Source-reported" record shows the name and area exactly as printed, so another outlet with the same name is not necessarily the one named.
The surest way to tell outlets apart is the FSSAI licence number, and the authority's posts rarely print it. So a page shows one only after we looked the place up on FoSCoS, FSSAI's public licence search, and found exactly one licence that is this outlet, with the date we looked. Until then it says the licence is not yet matched, which never means the place has no licence.
