Grievances.
A record here reports what a government authority said on a date. If it is wrong, about the wrong outlet, or out of date, tell us.

How it works
- Tell us. Email us with the page's link and what is wrong. Start the subject with "Complaint", "Wrong outlet", "Status changed", "Statement" or "Legal notice".
- A person replies. A person replies within 72 hours, says what we will check and asks for anything missing.
- Under review. If you report that a record names the wrong outlet, or that a status has changed, and we cannot rule it out quickly, we mark the record as under review within 72 hours while we check.
- We decide. We check against the authority's post, FSSAI's licence search and court records, and decide within 15 days. If we need longer, we tell you why before then, once, and decide within 30 days.
- On the record. We tell you the decision and the reason in writing. Every change to a record is dated and listed on the Corrections page.
A suspension was lifted
Suspensions are usually temporary, and courts sometimes set them aside. Send the authority's order lifting it, a re-inspection report or the court's order, and we add it to the record, shown first, within 72 hours of seeing it. The earlier action stays below it, marked as answered.
Reply to a record
A listed business can send a statement of up to 100 words. We show it beside the record, dated and labelled as yours.
To confirm it comes from the business, send it from an address on your own site or listing, on your letterhead, or with your FSSAI licence number, which we check on FSSAI's public search. We remove abuse, the names of people and claims about other businesses; everything else is printed as you wrote it. It is always free.
Legal notices
Send a legal notice to onrecord@aftertaste.city, with "Legal notice" in the subject. We read every one, check the record against its source at once, correct anything inaccurate the same day, and reply in writing before the notice's deadline.
What we never do
- Remove an accurate record of an official action because someone asks.
- Accept money, or anything else, to remove, change or delay a record.
- Publish the name of any person, except where it is part of a business's own name.
- Hide a correction: what a record said before stays on the Corrections page.
